When the second trainer starts
Most practices grow the same way: the owner gets booked out, a second trainer starts taking some sessions, and the admin doubles. Whose session was it? How long did it run? Was it a Sunday? What do we owe them, and did the super go? Is the extra trainer actually making the practice money?
Studio answers those questions inside the same app you already use for bookings and invoices.
What Studio adds for a team
- Team logins. Each trainer sees their own sessions and their own pay
- Delivered by. Mark who ran each session, so pay and income follow it
- Team pay worked out per session from the rate you set, with super, Saturday and Sunday loadings and travel
- Pay runs that lock the sessions paid and record when the bank transfer and super went
- Income by who delivered it, less what you paid the team, so you can see what team sessions left you
- Full reports. Income by service and by trainer, no-show rates, package completion and where clients come from
- 300 texts a month included, three times Solo
- Your own domain for your booking page, plus webhooks and Make.com
- Day training and board and train booked by capacity

An example fortnight
The owner and one contract trainer run a practice. The contractor is paid A$60 an hour including 12% super, with a 10% Sunday loading. Over the fortnight they deliver eight one-hour sessions, two of them on Sundays.
| Sessions | To their bank | To super |
|---|---|---|
| 6 weekday sessions | A$321.42 | A$38.58 |
| 2 Sunday sessions | A$117.86 | A$14.14 |
| Pay run | A$439.28 | A$52.72 |
If those eight sessions were billed at a typical A$120 each, they brought in A$960. The financials page shows that, less the A$492 paid out, as what the team's sessions left the practice.

What Studio is not
Studio is not payroll software. It does not withhold PAYG tax, lodge Single Touch Payroll or pay super through a clearing house, so employers still need payroll software for those parts. Whether a trainer is a contractor or an employee depends on the real arrangement; check with your accountant.
Questions trainers ask
What does Studio cost?
A$109 a month including GST, or A$1,090 a year. It includes everything in Solo plus team logins, team pay, day training and board and train, 300 texts a month, full reports and integrations.
Does PackOffice do payroll?
No. It works out what each trainer is owed per session and records pay runs, but it does not withhold PAYG tax, lodge Single Touch Payroll or pay super for you.
Can team members see the practice's finances?
Their login shows their own sessions and their own pay. The financials stay with you.
Can we try Studio before we decide?
Founding trainers can start on either plan and move between Solo and Studio at the prices locked in on the day they join.
