Set up a class once
A class is a weekly group session with a set number of places: puppy school on Saturday mornings, a reactive dog group on Tuesday nights, a small group walk. You set:
- the day, time, length and number of weeks
- how many places, and where it is held
- a term price and, if you take them, a drop-in price
- whether class pack credits can be used, and whether it can be booked online
Online, the class shows on your booking page with each week marked available, few left or full.
Terms, drop-ins and class packs
A term booking takes a place in every remaining week of the class. A drop-in takes one week. A class pack, such as a 5-class pass at A$180, holds credits that can be spent one week at a time. You choose how long a pack lasts and which classes it covers. If you cancel someone's week from your side, their pack credit goes back.

The waitlist
When a class, or the week someone wants, is full, the booking goes onto that class's waitlist instead. Nothing is charged, and the owner gets an email to say they are on the waitlist.
When a place frees up and you cancel someone's booking, PackOffice asks whether to move the first person on the waitlist in. One tap books them into exactly what they asked for, the term or that one week. Nobody is moved in without your say, so you stay in control of who joins mid-term.
For private sessions there is a separate waitlist: people can join it from your booking page with the days and times that suit them, and you offer them a time when one opens.
Check-in at the gate
- A phone-sized tick list of every dog booked for that week
- Or show a QR code and owners check themselves in as they arrive
- Each week records who came, so you can see attendance across the term
When plans change
- Message the whole class by email, or by text, when it rains or the venue changes
- Move a single week to another date without touching the rest of the term
- Cancel a week and email everyone booked in, in one step

Questions trainers ask
Does the waitlist move people into the class automatically?
When a place frees up, PackOffice asks whether to move the first person on the waitlist in, and one tap books them. It does not move anyone in without you, so you decide who joins mid-term.
Can owners check themselves in?
Yes. Show the QR code for that week and owners scan it on their phone to check in. You can also tick dogs in yourself from the list.
Can I sell class packs?
Yes. Set the number of credits, the price, how many days the pack lasts and which classes it can be used for. Each week booked with the pack uses one credit.
Can people book classes online?
Yes, if you turn on online booking for the class. It appears on your booking page with each week marked available, few left or full.
Are group classes included in Solo?
Yes. Group classes, class packs, waitlists and check-in are included in Solo and Studio.
